We run awesome social sessions in an inclusive, sensory-friendly and calm environment focused around the special interest of gaming - whether it's computer gaming, table top RPG's (D&D), board games, Lego, collectibles, Pokémon, Warhammer painting and group outings.
Our sessions are facilitated by peer support workers. Everyone can be themselves here, make new friends and have an amazing time! We embrace all identities and are dedicated to making people feel welcome and safe.
We are for teens, young adults and young at heart. Our clients range in age from 12 up to 55 at present.
About Us.
We created GameSpec because we recognise the need for inclusive social spaces where autistic and other neurodivergent-identifying people can come together.
It's a place to connect, make friends, practice essential social skills without feeling 'othered' AND have fun doing it.
Our team is made up of people with lived experience of autism and ADHD, carers of those with autism and ADHD, and also people who are massive gaming nerds that just want to share that joy with others.
We are here to ensure that every visit to GameSpec is affirming and enjoyable.
